are graded according to the 4Cs; color, clarity, cut and carat weight. In terms of color and clarity, less is more as Diamonds with the least amount of color or hue and the fewest inclusions are deemed the most valuable. .
Moreover, the bigger the diamond, the heavier its carat weight would be, increasing the cost per carat. Last but certainly not the least, is cut this is highly important as the quality and right depth of the cut gives the diamond its life, luster, and sparkle

The Illusion diamond setting combines several stone shapes that are manufactured and set in an invisible setting to give an illusion of a single, much larger diamond. The stones can be perfectly and painstakingly selected and invisibly set in a manner that presents the perception of a significantly bigger stone, even when the carat weight is less. These diamonds are an excellent way to save on the price of your diamond without compromising on size.

Side Stones
Side Stone Diamonds also known as “Accent Stones” are marched pairs of diamonds which are crucial to the design of any ring; three stones or five stones. They can also be used as links in drop earrings. At Colombin Stone, we have a variety of Side Stones all available in different shapes, sizes, clarity, and color. A point that we make to all our customers is to never judge a side stone depending on the carat weight as the side stone should compliment your center stone without overshadowing it. The center stone can be further highlighted by choosing the side stones at just one color grade below the center stone.

COLORED
Heating a diamond under high temperatures and pressure can result in change or removal of color. Heat treatments can remove or lessen the brownish hue, turning the diamond almost colorless. Moreover, this technique most commonly used in fancy diamonds to transform brown to yellow, orangish yellow to yellowish green or blue. These treatments are stable and considered permanent to normal jewellery manufacturing and handling processes.
