Blue Sapphire, is the birthstone for September and is often used to celebrate 5th and 45th anniversaries.

Inclusions are often regarded with poor quality however, with sapphires inclusions can actually increase the value of some sapphires. Sapphires from Kashmir contain tiny inclusions that enhances their velvety appearance. They help to scatter light, hence creating a beautiful visual effect without negatively affecting the gems quality or luster.

Blue Sapphire is one of the most precious and valuable blue gemstone, it is highly desirable due to its luxurious deep color, hardness, durability, and luster.

Our blue sapphires are majorly from Sri Lanka (Ceylon), India (Kashmir), and Burma. By having a wide range of locations we are able to curate a collection of blue sapphires with different quality, color, and prices.

Different Treatments

Natural, Heated, Beryllium, Diffused

We have it all!

Heat

Heat treatment is used to intensify, or even induce a stronger blue hue in Sapphires, or any specific color based on the Sapphire. Hence, making the stone saturated and vibrant. The heating can also remove "silk" inclusions, which give the sapphire a more transparent look. Heat can also cause recrystallisation of the inclusions making them more prominent, thus giving the stone a star shaped concentration of refracted light achieving a reflected star like effect (Star Sapphires)

Fancy

Sapphire

Fancy Sapphires

It is commonly mistaken that Sapphires are just blue however, the Sapphire family also includes "Fancy Sapphires". These come in various colors like pink, violet, yellow, green, and intermediate hues.

YELLOW

One of the most popular sapphire colors is yellow sapphire, symbolizing happiness and sunshine. Yellow Sappires can range from greenish yellow to orangish yellow, the most popular hue of yellow is canary yellow which is a very vibrant color. Yellow sapphires have "feather" type inclusions and as they are heat treated these inclusions can be destroyed easily, resulting in the perfect yellow color. These yellow sapphires are mined mostly in Sri Lanka (Ceylon) however, we also try to brand out our supply from other countries such as Thailand and Burma.

Pink Sapphire is rarer than most gemstones, these sapphires have exponentially increased in popularity and demand. The color pink exudes femininity and delicacy by adding glamour to delicate styles or even a touch of romance to classic tailored designs.
